Graffiti suspects arrested near 1202 7th street last night.
On 12 Mar 12, at about 9:30 pm, a citizen was in the 600 Block of Magnolia St. and saw a 4dr, silver, Prius, occupied by two men and driving extremely slow in the 1200 Blk of 7th St. The citizen kept an eye on the Prius. The Prius parked in the 600 blk. of Magnolia St where two men exited the car and and both began spray painting a board affixed to a chain linked fence that surrounds the business located at 1211 7th St. One of the suspects then walked across the street and began spray painting a parked truck. OPD responded and located the suspect vehicle and arrested both suspects. Great job by an Oakland resident who called OPD and helped to stop a crime in progress.
