State Police Still Seeking Leads in Violent Home Invasion

Dennis Township, Cape May County – Two men were injured when three masked men entered a home and pistol whipped them during a home invasion robbery on the evening of January 23. The attackers tied up their victims and ransacked the residence, stealing two legally owned guns and the victims’ wallets. One of the victims was hospitalized at the Atlantic City Medical Center for a fractured skull and was since released.

Detectives from Troop A have followed numerous leads, but the crime remains unsolved. Recently the driver’s license of one of the victims was found and put in a mailbox at an unknown location. It was forwarded to Post Office headquarters and mailed to the victim. Troopers are hoping the person who located the license will contact them with information about where the license was found. Any information about this crime can be given confidentially to troopers at Woodbine Barracks by calling 609-861-5698.
