UPDATE!! Caleb Jacobs arrested in Columbus ..danny Ellis Jr. and Devante Smith both arrested by Cincinnati Police

all three have been arrested and are in custody. Two in Cincinnati, one in Columbus, Ohio.

At approximately 15:31 hrs officers the Cincinnati Police Department arrested Devante Smith and Danny Ellis Jr. Also recovered was a 2000 Oldsmobile Alero that was reported stolen in Logan County earlier today. Caleb Jacobs remains at large, anyone with information concerning Jacobs is asked to contact the Logan County Sheriff's Officer 937-592-5731
Shith and Ellis will be held in Cincinnati until arrangements can be made to transport them back to Logan County to face charges related to thier escape from the Logan County Juvenile Detention Center ..

On March 6, 2012 at approximately 2030 hours, 3 juveniles escaped from the Logan County Juvenile Detention Center after assaulting corrections staff.

A vehicle was discovered stolen from the Indian Lake area this morning. The suspects may possibly be in possession of this vehicle:

Suspects could also possibly be in possession of a girlfriend’s vehicle:
2001 Ford Taurus Blue 4 door DX23YJ
Caleb Jacobs has family in Lake Alfred, Florida. We have received information that the three subjects could still be together and in route to Florida.
On Tuesday 03-06-2012 at approximately 8:30pm three juvenile detainees attacked a corrections officer at the Logan County Juvenile Detention Center and escaped. The three detainees are identified as Caleb Jacobs age 17, Danny Ellis Jr. age 15 and Devante Smith age 15. The corrections officer was transported by Bellefontaine EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained during the assault. Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of the three detainees is asked to contact the Logan County Sheriff’s Office at 937-592-5731.
