$10,000 reward offered for information on missing doctor.
The family of Doctor Promila MEHTA-PAUL is announcing that they are offering a $10,000 reward for information which results in the discovery of the missing doctor’s body. In addition, the family is also offering an additional $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for her death.
Anyone with further information regarding the disappearance of Doctor Promila MEHTA-PAUL or who may have information pertaining to the travels of her son, Paresh Paul (also known as Paul FOUNTAINE), between Monday, March 21st and Sunday, March 27, 2011, or who may have information as to the whereabouts of the doctor’s missing vehicle (a gold, 2001, Toyota Rav 4) is asked to contact the Munster Police Department on the department tip line at 219-836-1010. Persons interested in claiming the reward at a future date will need to leave a name and call back telephone number; however, all information will remain strictly confidential during the course of the investigation.
Doctor Promila MEHTA-PAUL, was last seen the evening of Monday, March 21st, 2011, The following day Doctor MEHTA-PAUL did not show up for work at her medical office despite having several appointments scheduled for that day. In addition, she gave her staff no notice that she would not be coming to work. The family and friends of Doctor MEHTA-PAUL have not seen or heard from her since her disappearance.
On September 8th, 2011, the Munster Police Department announced that the disappearance of Doctor Promila MEHTA-PAUL is likely the result of a criminal act and the department believes that she is now deceased. The department further announced that the doctor’s son, Paresh PAUL, may be involved in her disappearance. Paresh Paul also goes by the names of Paul Fountaine and is known to have used the aliases of Omar Ahmend and Paul Asconte.
