At 3:23 pm AECC received a panic alarm at Amarillo National Bank located at 2401 S Coulter. Officers were dispatched and arrived within 2 minutes. Officers learned that an H/F and H/M entered the bank near the lobby. The H/F approached the teller line and told the teller that they were being watched. The teller looked towards the lobby and observed an H/M raising his shirt, displaying a handgun stuck in his waistband. The H/F told the teller to hand over the money at which time the teller did. The two subjects then took off out the west doors, and then ran north along Coulter, then back east. The only description available at this time is H/F wearing a bright pink ball cap, dark jacket and carrying a black and white “cow” print type purse. The H/M is described as 5’6 200lbs, wearing a blue shirt, and dark baseball cap. No vehicle has been positively identified as being involved. There were no injuries reported.
