Severe Weather Approaching 
Currently the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center is forecasting severe storms to develop over much of North and Central Georgia later this evening and continue through the overnight hours.
These storms are developing in advance of a cold front moving south into Alabama and Georgia. Timing of the storm system still varies but most models are indicating a period of 6pm to 2am. The greatest risk time will be before midnight.
Primary hazards are Isolated Tornadoes, large hail, damaging winds and flash flooding.

Persons in North Georgia should monitor local media and/or NOAA weather radio for the latest statements and possible watches/warnings later today.
