An approaching cold front will cause the threat of severe weather to increase this evening around 7pm and continue until Thursday morning.
Currently the greatest severe weather impacts are expected between 7pm and 2am.
Storms that develop may contain tornadoes, damaging winds, and large hail.
Instructions:
Persons in North Georgia should remain alert to rapidly changing weather condtions this evening and tonight.
Extra caution should be exercised if outdoor activities are planned.
Loose outdoor items should be secured to prevent damage.
