SANTA BARBARA, CA – 2/24/2012 – February 24th, 2012. Santa Barbara Police Detectives are releasing images they believe are of the suspect in the most recent kiosk robbery, committed last Tuesday, February 21st, at 1100 Anacapa Street. While committing this robbery, the suspect covered his face with a cloth. However, he also wore a bright orange safety vest over his clothing. After the robbery, detectives scoured nearby businesses for witnesses and clues. At a nearby business location, and just minutes before the robbery took place, they found images of a man wearing a matching bright orange safety vest. Detectives believe the images are of the suspect.

Detectives believe that after committing the robbery, the suspect removed his bright orange vest to blend in and escape. Anyone with information about the identity of this suspect is urged to contact Santa Barbara Police Detectives at 805-897-2355.
