...MORE SNOW IN THE MOUNTAINS AND FOOTHILLS OF SOUTHWEST WASHINGTON AND NORTHWEST OREGON TONIGHT AND MONDAY...

ANOTHER SYSTEM WILL BE MOVING THROUGH SOUTHWEST WASHINGTON AND NORTHWEST OREGON TONIGHT AND MONDAY. THIS SYSTEM WILL INITIALLY HAVE SNOW LEVELS AROUND 1500 TO 2000 FEET TONIGHT...SLOWLY RISING TO 3500 TO 4500 FEET BY LATER MONDAY.

SNOW AMOUNTS IN THE CASCADES WILL RANGE FROM 3 TO 6 INCHES TONIGHT AND MONDAY. SNOW AMOUNTS IN THE CASCADE FOOTHILLS AND COASTAL MOUNTAINS WILL REACH 1 OR 2 INCHES TONIGHT AND EARLY MONDAY BEFORE THE SNOW LEVEL RISES DURING THE DAY MONDAY.

IF YOU HAVE TRAVEL THROUGH THE MOUNTAINS ON THIS HOLIDAY WEEKEND...ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE CASCADE PASSES...BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED ROADS. CARRY CHAINS FOR THE SNOW COVERED ROADS...AND CARRY EXTRA FOOD AND CLOTHING SHOULD YOU BECOME DELAYED IN THE MOUNTAINS.
