On 2-16-2012, Rutherford County Sheriff Officers assisted the Polk County Sheriff Office and N.C. State Bureau of Investigation in the arrest of several suspects from a breaking and entering case which occurred January 23, 2012, along Silver Creek Road in Mill Spring.
Billy Ray Praytor was arrested after a foot chase which started in the area of Withrow Road and ended on the campus of Isothermal Community College. Deputies took Billy Ray Praytor into custody after officers located him on top of the Science Building. Billy Ray Praytor has been charged with Felony Breaking & Entering, Larceny after Breaking & Entering and Felony Larceny. Bond for Billy Ray Praytor was set at $500,000.00.
Three other suspects were taken into custody in Rutherford County after the arrest of Billy Ray Praytor.
Arrested were Carla Praytor Bradley charged with Felony Conspiracy, Felony Larceny and Felony Conversion. Bond for Carla Praytor Bradley was set at $305,000.00. Alfred Lee Lynch charged with Accessory After the Fact and Felony Conspiracy. Bond for Alfred Lee Lynch was set at $300,000.00. Donna Michelle Praytor charged with Felony Conspiracy and Felony Larceny. Bond for Donna Michelle Praytor was set at $300,000.00
This case is still under investigation by Polk County Sheriff Office.
