Time Period: January 29th – February 4th

Homicides – Between 1/29‐2/4, there were no homicides. In 2012 YTD, there has been one homicide. In 2011 YTD, there were 6 reported homicides.

Rape – Between 1/29‐2/4, there were no reported rapes. In 2012 YTD, there have been 6 reported rapes. In 2011 YTD, there were 5 reported rapes.

Robberies – Between 1/29‐2/4, 8 reported robberies occurred. There were three armed robberies and 5 strong‐arm robberies. In 2012 YTD, total robberies are down approx. 14% from 2011.

In District 3, two robberies involving 2 MBs, 18‐25 yrs old in a Silver Dodge Charger 4dr, with stock rims & paper plates occurred. In one incident, suspects used a blk handgun.

Aggravated Assaults – Between 1/29‐2/4, there were 14 reported aggravated assaults. In District 3, there were two gang‐related ADW‐gun incidents during this time period. In 2012 YTD, aggravated assaults are down approx. 39% from 2011.

Residential Burglary – Between 1/29‐2/4, there were 8 reported residential burglaries. There were two reported daytime burglaries in RD 2830. In 2012 YTD, residential burglaries are down approx. 34% from 2011.

Comm/Other Structure Burglary – Between 1/29‐2/4, there were 3 comm/other structure burglaries.

In 2012 YTD, there were 17 reported incidents.

Grand Theft Auto – Between 1/29‐2/4, there were 13 reported stolen vehicles. There were two reported stolen vehicles in RD 2853 in the 16000 block of Thorson Av. In 2012 YTD, GTAs are down approx. 10% from 2011.

Vehicle Burglary – Between 1/29‐2/4, there were 7 reported vehicle burglaries. There were 3 reported vehicle burglaries in ERD in the late PM/EM hrs during this time period. In 2012 YTD, there have been 22 reported incidents; down approx 42% from 2011.
