HOLLISTER, CALIFORNIA – February 7, 2012– On Tuesday, February 07, 2012 Missing 14 year-old, Selena Burr, was located by San Francisco Police Officers. The suspect, Clint Wageman, is in custody on an arrest warrant issued out of San Benito County.
Selena Burr has been missing from her home in Hollister since February 2, 2012. The investigation revealed information that she might be in the company of Clint Wageman (41). Several tips from citizens led officers to concentrate their efforts in the San Francisco area.
Members of the California Department of Justice (DOJ), the Unified Narcotics Task Force (UNET) and the Hollister Police Department were working in San Francisco conducting surveillance when Selena was located by San Francisco Police Officers.
At about 2:30 p.m., San Francisco Police Officers were contacted by a citizen who advised he had seen a man and a young girl that matched the description of Selena and Wageman. The citizen pointed out an apartment where police officers knocked on the door and located Wageman and Selena.
The Hollister Police Department would like to thank the media for covering this story. There is no doubt that the airing of Selena’s picture both in the Hollister area and the San Francisco area played a large role in her recovery.
