Incident: Vehicle vs. bicyclist collision, Driving under the influence arrest
Location: S. McDowell Blvd. @ Casa Grande Rd., Petaluma
Suspect(s): Hoganson, Denise 54 years of Santa Rosa
Summary: On the listed date and time, Petaluma Police responded to a vehicle vs bicyclist collision at S. McDowell Blvd and Casa Grande Rd. An investigation was conducted and found that the bicyclist was travelling through the intersection with required lighting on her bicycle. She was struck by a vehicle driven by Denise Hoganson. Hoganson was determined to be driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and was arrested for felony DUI. The victim was transported to a local hospital where she was treated for injuries and released. Hoganson was transported to the Petaluma Police Department where she posted $30,000 Bail.
