Mansfield Courts Starts Warrant Amnesty Period Before Statewide Warrant Roundup

The City of Mansfield Municipal Court starts their warrant amnesty program on Wednesday February 1st.

The program is designed to reduce the amount of outstanding warrants and allow those with warrants to take care of their business with the court at a reduced rate.

During the amnesty period those having warrants can come to the Mansfield Municipal Court without the fear of being arrested. This does not mean that if they are stopped by an officer on the street they won’t be arrested.

The amnesty period will run from February 1st thru February 24th with the municipal court having extended hours on Monday and Thursday from 8am until 7pm.

The Mansfield City Court encourages all those with warrants to take advantage of the amnesty period.

The Mansfield Municipal Court can be contacted at 817-276-4716.

The Mansfield Municipal Court has approximately 1314 warrants on the books with a value of $213,232.
