On January 31, 2012, at about 10:45 PM, officers were dispatched to Family Discount Store at 1120 SW 15th on a robbery. The clerk reported that he was locking the doors at the close of business when he was approached by three black males who produced an object the clerk thought was a weapon. The black males ordered the clerk to open the doors, and they all entered into the store. The suspects demanded the money from the store. They also took cigarettes and personal property from the clerk. The three suspects were described as being between 5’8 and 6’2, slim build. They were dressed in dark clothes and ski masks. They left on foot in an unknown direction. No one was injured in this incident and there have been no arrests.
