Assault suspect (Braxton) in custody
Shaun Braxton, age 35 of Atlantic City, was arrested today on Warrants from the Brigantine Police Department for the assault of two girls which happened on January 14th. The US Marshall Service along with the Seattle police department fugitive unit arrested Mr. Braxton without incident in a Seattle city suburb this morning after a two week investigation by the Brigantine Police department, the Atlantic County Prosecutors Office, the US Marshall service and Seattle Police Department. He is currently lodged in the Kings County Jail in Seattle Washington awaiting extradition to NJ to face charges stemming from the 1/14/12 incident. Mr. Braxton is charged with Robbery, Criminal Restraint, Aggravated Assault, Terroristic Threats, Possession of Weapon, and Theft of a Motor vehicle.
