The Marina del Rey Sheriff’s Station celebrates Senior Deputy Wayne Yoshimura retirement. Wayne was a well tenured Boat Operator and one of the few remaining original Los Angeles County Harbor Patrolmen. One of Wayne’s accomplishments is being a gold medalist in judo at the Police Olympics games. It was great seeing Wayne’s Wife, Son and Daughter along with the Marina del Rey Station family and former Harbor Patrolmen/women come out to support his send off. Wayne’s former Academy Classmates Assistant Sheriff Cecil Rambo, Captain Oceal Victory, Lieutenant Reginald Gautt along with Region II Area Commander Eric Hamilton bestowed on Wayne several Service Awards and Plaques honoring his 31 years of dedicated service to Los Angeles County.
