On Sunday, 15 January 2012 at 12:43 am Police responded to 292 Keene Street on a report of a dispute. When officers arrived they spoke to a victim who stated that he got into a dispute with Glenn Ventura, age 25 who was intoxicated, after the dispute Venture came back to the house and started breaking down the door with a bat. Mr. Venture then left. A short time later police were sent back to the address when a family called and said that Venture had returned to the house.
Venture was on the front porch of the house when police arrived, he immediately ran inside the house and came out through the backyard, jumping a fence, and ran north toward Grove Street, as he attempted to flee from police. After a brief struggle with police Venture was placed under arrest. Mr. Ventura was transported to Raritan Bay Medical Center by EMS. He was charged with obstructing the administration of justice and resisting arrest. Bail was set at $5,000.00, No 10% by Honorable Judge Emery Toth. Mr. Ventura also had three outstanding warrants out of Perth Amboy, Woodbridge, and Sayreville.
