Drug Arrest
On Thursday, 12 January 2012 at approximately 4:00pm members of the Perth Amboy Police Department’s Investigative Division executed a Superior Court Search Warrant at 122 Catalpa Avenue, Catalpa Food Market.
As a result of the search warrant over 200 pills were recovered and seized (Xanax, Oxycodone and Roxicodone). Approximately $5,000 in cash and drugs were recovered.
Arrested were Miguel A. Moran, Age 44 of 105 State Street and Carina Veronica Olguin, Age 33 also of 105 State Street.
Mr. Moran was charged with Possession of CDS (Prescription Legend Drugs over 100 doses) with intent to Distribute, Possession of Prescription Legend Drugs over 100 doses, and Possession of CDS with intent to Distribute. Bail was set at $50,000.00 with no 10% option by the Honorable Judge Maria Del Valle Koch. Defendant was also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with intent to Distribute.
Carina Veronica Olguin was charged with Possession of Prescription Drugs and Conspiracy to Distribute. Bail was set at $25,000.00 with no 10% option by the Honorable Judge Maria Del Valle Koch.
