Deputies were dispatched to the Easley residence around 3:30 p.m. after dispatchers received a call of a disturbance at that residence.
The victim, 25 yo Kristina Easley, said that she and Matthew had been arguing, he got upset and threw a kitchen knife at her. She blocked the knife with her hand, to keep from getting hit in the face, and was cut in the process. The victim was treated at the scene by Lifenet and elected to drive herself to the hospital for stitches.
Matthew Easley was taken into custody without incident and charged with 2nd Degree Domestic Battery.
