Deputies are investigating a daytime burglary that occurred in the 2200 block of Lakeview Ave, Ypsilanti Twp, on 1/23/2012. The caller told investigators they were gone from their home during the morning—when they came home in the early afternoon, they noticed a suspicious vehicle parked near their home. The vehicle fled upon seeing the homeowner returning. Several items were stolen from inside of the home. No suspect information was available. The suspect fled the area in a dark blue Chevy Malibu. No further details were available at the time of this posting.
