Tornado Watch in effect until 1pm due to approaching cold front. 
The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch effective until 1pm EST for portions of North and Central Georgia including Paulding County due to an approaching cold front bringing the threat of severe weather to the state.
The primary hazards from storms that develop will be cloud to ground lightning, large hail, damaging winds and the possibility of an isolated tornado.
The severe weather threat will diminish during the late afternoon hours and move into Central and South Georgia.
Instructions:
Persons in the area should monitor local media and/or NOAA weather radio for latest information and possible warnings.
Pay close attention to rapidly changing weather conditions if you have outdoor activities planned today. If lightning and/or thunder is observed move indoors.
Secure loose items outdoors to prevent wind damage.
