An on-scene supervisor has advised the Crime Prevention Unit that the traffic is now backed up from about 26th Avenue to 45th Avenue due to the ongoing investigation of the accident south of 45th and Canyon Drive. The accident scene may require that traffic continues to be routed off the main lanes of Canyon for another hour, drivers may wish to avoid Canyon Drive from 26th Avenue south to Hillside to avoid delays.
