Incident: 23152(a) VC; Driving under the influence
Location: East Washington Street and Copeland Street, Petaluma
Suspect: Phillip Leroy Finley, 38 year old Benicia resident
Summary: On the listed date and time, a Petaluma Police Officer observed a vehicle collide with the traffic signal pole on the corner of East Washington Street and Copeland Street. The vehicle sustained significant front end damage but attempted to drive away. The officer stopped the vehicle and conducted a DUI investigation. The driver Phillip Leroy Finley was determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and later transported to the Sonoma County Jail.
