On todays date at approximately 12:45 P.M., Officers responded to the area of Kingsville and Rossiter on the report of shots fired. Witnesses reported observing an unknown African American subject standing outside of a dark green older model SUV paked on Kingsville, possibly a Chevy Suburban or Chevy Tahoe. The subject fired 2-3 rounds from a handgun into the air and fled W/B on Kingsville. The vehicle was possibly occupied by a second African American male, no further description.
There were no victims and no damage found in the area. A single shell casing was recovered. Anyone with information is asked to contact the HWPD at (313) 343-2530.
