Advisory

Pike-Gibson Water Outage planned Tomorrow (1/18) morning. Please conserve water tomorrow until service is restored.

PIKE GIBSON WATER, INC
Starting at 8:00 am EST Wednesday January 18, 2012 water will be shut off where I-69 crosses Hwy 57 south of Petersburg and north of Glezen. This is due to a water line break under I-69. The affected areas will be from I-69 S of interstate crossing through Glezen and south of 57 to the Oakland City Water tower. This includes all branch lines East & West of Hwy 57. This also includes the town of Francisco and the Peabody Francisco Coal Mine. The only water that will be available is what Pike Gibson Water currently has in the West Oakland City tower. The customers that will be affected are those in the Northwest Oakland City area, Glezen, Sugar Ridge and Knights Chapel. Pike Gibson Water asks that all households in the affected areas refrain from laundry use and any additional excessive water usage.
THERE IS NO BOIL ADVISORY AT THIS TIME. PLEASE STAY TUNED TO LOCAL NEWS AND RADIO STATIONS FOR ANY FURTHER UPDATES.
