A north side neighborhood has been the target of a number of attempted burglaries during the last several days. The area targeted is from Douglas Ave. east to Main St. and from Goold St. north to South St. First floor windows have been targeted, screens are cut and windows forced, usually from about Noon until about 9:30 P.M.
Keep exterior lights on and report any in progress suspicious activity or suspicious persons to the Racine Police Department immediately by dialing 911. If you have info about these attempted burglaries contact the Racine PD-Investigations Unit at 635-7756 or Crimestoppers at 636-9330.
