The winter weather advisory for Mercer County & surrounding area has been cancelled by the National Weather Service. Occasional light snow showers will continue through this afternoon but little additional snow accumulation is expected. West winds of 20 to 30 mph will result in areas of blowing snow. As a result....roads will remain slick in spots through this afternoon. Continue to use extra caution if traveling today.
Temperatures this afternoon will only be in the lower 20's. The cold temperatures combined with the winds will keep wind chill readings in the single digits.
