Hazardous travel conditions likely in many areas this morning. Temps. around 20 degrees and scattered snow showers will continue moving east across the region. Some slick roadways can be expected for the morning comute and travel problems will not just be confined to bridges and overpasses. Due to the extreme cold this morning even already treated roadways will become slick and hazardous. Gusty West winds will add to the travel difficulties. Remember to slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for changing roadway conditions. Also remember to be prepared for single digit wind chills if you have to go outside.
