National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Mercer County. Snow showers will increase in coverage overnight and will diminish by late morning with 2 to 4 inches of accumulation. Slick spots have developed on the roadways and travel difficulties are expected to continue into friday morning. The combination of gusty winds and snowfall will reduce visibilities as low as a half mile at times. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while driving.
