An artic front will push through the state this evening and with it bring wintry weather conditions to the extreme Northern portions of the state.
The Metro Atlanta areas including Paulding County is expected to only experience a few light flurries however much colder air will be in place bringing the low temperature to around 24 with windchill readings in the teens early Friday morning.
A Wind Advisory is in effect due to expected wind gusts up to 35MPH. The winds should begin to diminish through the early morning hours.
Motorists should use extra caution as winds this strong can make driving difficult - especially high profile vehicles.
