On January 6, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. a victim from a residence in the 700 block of Harwood Road in Harwood reported arriving home and observing the above vehicle in her driveway with a male subject seated in the passenger seat. The victim observed another male subject on her front porch peering through her front window. The subjects stated they observed downed trees on the property, wanted to know if they could have the trees for firewood and indicated that they would return with a chain saw. The victim later noticed the front door jam was cracked and the locking mechanism was damaged. Entry was not made and nothing appeared to have been taken from the home. The suspects were described as two black males with one suspect in his 40’s, approximately 5’10”, 185 pounds with a gray left eye.

In addition to the aforementioned incident, Southern District Detectives are looking into the possibility that the above suspect vehicle may be the same vehicle involved in several burglaries in Montgomery County. In one of those incidents, Montgomery County Police previously released home video surveillance that captured the suspect and suspect vehicle.
