After searching since early Monday evening, the Sachse Police Department located the body of Jeremy Denk (40) in a wooded area in Sachse, deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Sachse Police had been seeking help from the public in locating Jeremy Mr. Denk, who had last been seen by neighbors on Saturday January 7th at about 3pm. When Mr. Denks roommate returned home from a weekend trip on Sunday January 8th he was not at home and had not been seen or heard from since. Using information provided from his cell phone carrier, Detectives were able to narrow their search to the wooded area along Pleasant Valley Road near Miles Road, just inside the Garland City limit.

The official cause of death will be determined by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office.
