Full Notification

On January 3, 2012, 0904 hours, deputies from Norwalk Station responded to the 13200 block of Flatbush Avenue, Norwalk, regarding a burglary in progress call. Two female juveniles were home alone when they saw three males ringing the doorbell and banging on the door/windows of their residence. When the females did not answer the door, the suspects began taking the window screens off the windows to gain entry into the residence. The females immediately called their mother on her cell phone, who was just a short distance away, and also notified Norwalk Sheriff’s Station via 911.

The mother of the females arrived shortly thereafter and saw the suspects drive away in their vehicle (1996 white Chevy Tahoe). The responding deputies later found the suspect vehicle traveling on Rosecrans Avenue and conducted a felony traffic stop. and (2) male juveniles were arrested for residential burglary and booked at Norwalk Sheriff’s Station.
