**Winter Storm Warning Continues for the entire service area)** thru **Tues 7am**.

The National Weather Service issued a **Winter Storm Warning** for **Cass County** until **7am Tuesday 7/3/2012**.

..WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST TUESDAY...
HAZARDOUS WEATHER...
* LAKE EFFECT SNOW SNOW BANDS WILL PERSIST THROUGH TONIGHT.
* ACCUMULATIONS OF 8 TO 15 INCHES ARE EXPECTED BY TUESDAY MORNING...WITH THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS OVER EXTREME EASTERN BERRIEN AND WESTERN CASS COUNTIES.
* STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH WILL LEAD TO SIGNIFICANT BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.
IMPACTS...
* SOME ROADS WILL BECOME IMPASSABLE...ESPECIALLY SECONDARY AND COUNTY ROADS DUE TO HEAVY SNOWFALL AND DRIFTING SNOW.

A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR LAKE EFFECT SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF LAKE EFFECT SNOW AND STRONG WINDS ARE FORECAST THAT WILL MAKE TRAVEL DANGEROUS. ONLY TRAVEL IN AN EMERGENCY. IF YOU MUST TRAVEL...KEEP AN EXTRA FLASHLIGHT...
