Cleona Borough Police Department & Nixle 
Effective immediately the Cleona Borough Police Department will be using Nixle as our Emergency Notification System. The system will also be used to advertise Police Department events and to notify residents about crime alerts.
The Police Department discontinued using the Nixle service earlier in the year after it was told the "free" service would now cost in excess of $1,000.00. Due to the number of agencies that utilize the service and the current economic times, Nixle decided to continue to offer it's service free of charge to Public Safety Agencies.
We look forward to offering this free service to our residents once again.
