Probation Search Nets One Arrest And Methamphetamine

A probation search by the Sheriff’s Narcotics Task Force and the Lake County Probation Department resulted in one arrest and the seizure of 14.7 grams of methamphetamine.
On December 21, 2011, at approximately 8:30 am, narcotics detectives and probation officers conducted a probation search where 29 year old Fernando Parra of Kelseyville was residing and who was on felony probation. When narcotics detectives entered the home, Fernando Para was located and detained without incident. A sheriff’s narcotics detection K9 alerted on a night stand dresser drawer in one of the bedrooms. Narcotics detectives conducted a search of dresser drawer and located approximately 14.7 grams of methamphetamine, which was packaged in twenty four plastic baggies.
Parra was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sales, violation of a court order preventing domestic violence and probation violation. Parra was transported to the Lake County Hill Road Correctional Facility and booked.
The Sheriff’s Narcotics Task Force will continue its efforts to eradicate narcotics from the communities of Lake County and seize the suspected profits of drug trafficking for the asset forfeiture whenever possible.
