2 homes were burglarized near you in Ypsilanti Township
INCIDENT 1: Ypsilanti Twp deputies are investigating a home invasion that occurred in the 100 block of Riley Court. The incident was reported on 12/20/2011, at about 4:00PM. Investigators are still attempting to determine the time and date of the break-in. The property owner told deputies that someone broke into a vacant apartment and stole several appliances. No arrests have been made and their is no suspect information at this time. The incident remains under investigation by area deputies.
INCIDENT2: Ypsilanti Twp deputies are also investigating a home invasion that occurred in the 900 block of Desoto Ave. The victim called the Sheriff’s Office on 12/20/2011; investigators believe the break-in occurred between the hours of 12:00PM and 5:00PM, on 12/20/2011. Entry to the home was gained through a rear, ground floor window. An unknown quantity of cash was stolen. No suspect information was available. No further details were available at the time of this posting.
