On Saturday, 17 December 2011 at 2:45 pm police responded to the area of Smith Street and McClellan Street on a report of shots fired.
During a fight between several individuals primarily from the Cities Plainfield and Carteret several shots were fired, amazingly know one was injured. Police arrested Victor Jimenez; age 28, 365 Oak Street, Perth Amboy, for possession of a handgun and marijuana. Also arrested was Hector Colon-Burgos, age 20, from 23 Chrome Avenue, Carteret, NJ. He was charged with weapons offences and aggravated assault. Both defendants had bail set by the Honorable Judge George Boyd at $200,000.00 no 10%. Both defendants were transported to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center in North Brunswick.
