Winter Storm Warning

The NWS in Gray, ME has issued a winter storm warning for snow, which is in effect from midnight tonight until noon Thursday. Locations include much of the Connecticut valley and northern New Hampshire. This includes Southern Grafton County.
Snow is expected with a few pockets of sleet and freezing rain possible.
Accumulations: 6 to 12 inches.
Rain will change to snow, beginning this evening at higher elevations, and after midnight in the valleys. Snow will continue through the night into the early morning.
Impacts: Slick driving as temperatures drop to near freezing.
Winds: Northwest 20 to 30 mph on Thursday with gusts up to 40 mph.
Temperatures: Upper 20s to lowers 30s.
Precautionary/preparedness actions: A winter storm warning means significant amounts of snow are expected or occurring. Strong winds are also possible. This will make travel very hazardous.
