THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHERN DELAWARE...NORTHEAST
MARYLAND...NEW JERSEY AND SOUTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA...INCLUDING
THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN NORTHERN DELAWARE...NEW CASTLE. IN
NORTHEAST MARYLAND...CECIL. IN NEW JERSEY...CAMDEN...
GLOUCESTER...HUNTERDON...MERCER...MIDDLESEX...MORRIS...
NORTHWESTERN BURLINGTON...SALEM...SOMERSET...SUSSEX...WARREN
AND WESTERN MONMOUTH. IN SOUTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA...BUCKS...
CHESTER...DELAWARE...MONTGOMERY AND PHILADELPHIA.

* FROM WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT

* RAIN, HEAVY AT TIMES, IS EXPECTED TO DROP 1.5 TO 2.0 INCHES WITH
LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS OF AROUND 2.5 INCHES ACROSS THE WATCH
AREA. RAINFALL AMOUNTS EXCEEDING TWO INCHES WILL INCREASE THE
LIKELIHOOD OF CREEK AND SMALLER RIVER FLOODING OCCURRING.

* EXPECT POOR DRAINAGE FLOODING TO OCCUR. PLEASE TRY TO TAKE
ROADWAYS THAT ARE NOT PRONE TO POOR DRAINAGE FLOODING OR LOCATED
NEXT TO CREEKS AND SMALLER RIVERS. THE HEAVIER RAIN SHOULD
IMPACT THE WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING COMMUTE AND THE
EFFECTS FROM POTENTIAL FLOODING COULD PERIST INTO THE THURSDAY
MORNING COMMUTE.

* A CHANGEOVER TO SNOW COULD LIMIT THE FLOOD POTENTIAL IN THE FAR
NORTHWEST PART OF THE CURRENT WATCH AREA.

* THE DELAWARE RIVER IS NOT EXPECTED TO FLOOD.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLOOD WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING BASED ON
CURRENT FORECASTS.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE ALERT FOR POSSIBLE
FLOOD WARNINGS. THOSE LIVING IN AREAS PRONE TO FLOODING SHOULD BE
PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION SHOULD FLOODING DEVELOP.
