On Thursday, 01 December 2011 Police received information regarding an individual named Pedro Pomales, D.O.B. 01/21/1984, who was selling cocaine from a residence at 75 Commerce Street, Perth Amboy, N.J. Surveillance was established by the Special Investigation Bureau at this location, when a red colored Mitsubishi Galant pulled into the driveway of this residence with two occupants inside. Pomales was observed by police exiting the front door of the residence and approached the passenger side of the vehicle. Observing that a drug transaction was about to occur, the individuals were approached by Detectives. After a police investigation Pomales was found to be in possession of a magnetic hide-a-key box that contained (10) small baggies of cocaine which were packaged for individual sale along with $135.00 in cash. From the vehicle (3) baggies of marijuana were recovered and the occupants who were identified as Rafael Espinos-Vicens, D.O.B. 02/21/1985, and a Juvenile, were placed under arrest along with Pomales.
