The Town of Hope Mills will be holding it's annual Christmas Parade at 3 p.m. today followed by the Festival of Lights and tree lighting ceremony at Hope Mills Lake Park at 5:30 p.m.. Please plan your routes accordingly.

The parade will begin at the intersection of Park and Rockfish Roads and end at Hope Mills Middle School on Cameron Road. Rockfish Road will be closed to vehicular traffic from Golfview Drive to North Main Street at 2:30 p.m.

North Main Street will be closed at 2:50 p.m. from Golfview Drive to Cameron Road. Motorists traveling north on South Main Street will be allowed to turn right onto Cameron Road until the parade reaches that location. Traffic will be allowed to turn right onto Golfview Drive from North Main Street during the entirety of the parade. Motorists can use the Hope Mills Bypass to avoid the parade route.
