Multiple manhole covers stolen near you - Liberty Square 
Ypsilanti Township deputies are investigating the theft of 7 manhole (and drain) covers taken from roads and alleyways within the Liberty Square Apartment Complex. The complex is located near Rawsonville Rd, accessed from Grove Rd; and, the complex is currently being monitored by the Township’s Office of Community Standards. The missing manhole covers were discovered by Township employees conducting ordinance inspections on 12/1/2011. No arrests have been made at the time of this posting. The time of the theft(s) is unknown. The case remains under investigation by area deputies and Ypsilanti Township authorities.
