From the City of Arcadia Recreation & Community Services Department:

All events, classes, or sports related activities conducted through the Recreation & Community Services Department are cancelled for today and tomorrow, Thursday and Friday, December 1 - 2, 2011. This includes any activities at the Senior Center as well. The cancellations are due to the severe windstorm event.

All Recreation & Community Services facilities, including the Community/Senior Center, will be closed today and tomorrow as well. Any outdoor sports practice or events are also cancelled.

Phone lines are currently down, but Recreation staff will be available at 626-574-5113 when phone service is restored.

The Snow Festival and Breakfast with Santa events scheduled for Saturday, December 3rd, will still take place, as of this notification.
