Moorestown Police want to make residents aware of recent Residential Burglaries

The Police Department wants to make residents aware of recent residential burglaries. Anyone with information on these or any other crimes are asked to contact the Police Department at 856-914-3092 or via "Police Tips" on the Township Website. As always, if you see something suspicious, don't hesitate, CALL 911.



11/27/2011 Residents of the Unit Block of Julia Court reported a Burglary/Theft that occurred between 6:30pm-7:30pm. Forcible entry was made through a rear Laundry Room door. A 55” Samsung TV was taken. Telephone & Cable wires to the residence were cut.



11/28/2011 Residents of the 400 Block of East Central Ave. who had been away returned home to find their residence Burglarized through Kitchen window that was broken out. Jewelry was taken from the residence. Telephone & Cable wires to the residence were cut.



11/28/2011 Neighbors of a resident in the 200 Block of Collins Ave. observed a stocky male and olive skinned female walking from the area of a neighbor’s residence at approximately 3pm. The female was carrying a box, later determined to be the victim’s jewelry box, partially concealed under her sweat shirt. The neighbors followed the two subjects and observed them get into what was described as an older model tan colored Ford Taurus parked in the 400 Block of West Third St. and leave the area. The neighbors returned and discovered that their neighbor’s residence had been burglarized and called the Police.
