Santa Parade & Jingle Bell Run will take place on 11/25/11 starting at 9:00am. Road closure and parking restrictions 
The Grosse Pointe Farms Department of Public Safety would like to advise residents & businesses of the following road closures / parking restrictions that will occur on Friday, November 25th, 2011 starting at 6:00am.
The Jingle Bell Run starts at 9:00 am and the Santa Parade will start at 10:00am. Both events will close traffic on Kercheval Avenue between Fisher Road & Muir Road (Grosse Pointe City will handling their section of Kercheval).
In addition there will be no parking allowed on G.P. Blvd between Fisher Rd & Lewiston Rd. Lewiston Rd itself will also be posted no parking between G.P. Blvd & Kercheval Ave. These no parking areas are needed for parade staging.
The Public Safety Department is expecting a large turnout for both events. Expect higher than normal traffic flow on surrounding streets.
