Moorestown Police are investigating a Burglary on Hogan Way and a Suspicious Person complaint on E. Oak Ave.

On 11/15/2011 at approx. 7:37 pm Moorestown Police responded to a 911 call in the unit block of Hogan Way. The resident reported coming home, interrupting a Burglary in progress at her residence. The resident entered her residence through the garage to hear subject(s) running and exiting through the rear of the residence, slamming a door as they left. She did not see the Burglar(s) and was uninjured. The Burglar(s) took jewelry from the victim’s bedroom. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Police Department at 856-914-3092.

Also on 11/15/2011 at approx. 11:25 am, a resident of the 300 block of E. Oak Ave. reported a suspicious person. The resident heard her door bell ring. She came downstairs to find an olive skinned white male in her back yard. When the subject saw her looking out at him, he left the area in a sliver Mercedes Benz. She promptly called Police who are investigating this incident.

If you see suspicious activity, don’t hesitate and call 911. Residents are asked to utilize alarm systems and outdoor security lighting as available. Put lights on inside and on timer if away for extended periods of time. Please photograph valuables and record serial numbers of electronics as this is critical to the recovery of stolen items.
