Suspect: White female with hair in a ponytail (no further description)

On Monday 11/14/11, at approximately 4:18pm, a light colored SUV being driven Eastbound on Mt Diablo Blvd near Bont Lane struck a bicyclist, who was also believed to be traveling Eastbound on Mt. Diablo Blvd. before being struck. After hitting the cyclist, the vehicle was last seen making a left turn onto Southbound Bont Lane. The bicyclist received a head injury, but is expected to make a fully recovery. The driver of the suspect vehicle is described as a white female with dark pulled into a ponytail.

The Walnut Creek Police Department is looking for possible witnesses to this collision and anyone that may have seen the suspect vehicle is encouraged to phone Officer Mike Adams at (925) 943-5844.
