Forged Prescription Arrest

On Thursday, 20 October 2011 at approximately 10:11 pm Police Officer Aurelio Vazquez was returning to his patrol sector from the emergency room when he stopped behind a vehicle, a Ford Expedition that was stopped at the stop sign at Groom Street and Compton Avenue. The vehicle sat at the stop sign for approximately one minute despite their being no vehicle or pedestrian traffic. Officer Vazquez illuminated the vehicle with the patrol vehicles spot light to get the drivers attention. With still no movement of the vehicle, he pulled alongside the passenger side of the vehicle to see the driver. At this point in time he observed a male driver asleep behind the wheel. He exited the vehicle and approached the driver’s side to speak with the driver. The Driver was asleep and didn't respond to knocking on the window. Officer Vazquez opened the driver’s door and had to shake the driver to awaken him. The driver woke up and Vazquez told him to put his vehicle in park so that he wouldn't roll into the intersection. The male stated he was sorry but that he hadn't slept in over two days. The driver stated that he had not been drinking. The driver had on his lap, torn pieces of paper, which appeared to be prescription instructions from "Walgreens". The driver produced a vehicle registration and an insurance card in the name of Yesith E. Murillo-Chacon. The driver was asked if he was the registered owner, Yesith Murillo-Chacon. The driver stated "Yes". The driver (Yesith Murillo-Chacon) now exited the vehicle in an attempt to find his driver license. Mr. Murillo twice turned his body away from the officer, balding his body after being told to face me as he looked through his pockets. During the investigation Mr. Murillo pulled out a torn receipt from Walgreens. He stated that he does take Xanax but that he was just tired. Mr. Murillo showed the partial receipt, but the receipt was in the name of Albert Florez After further investigation Mr. Murillo had other pill bottles believed to be "Oxycodone", filled at "Walgreens" approx 1 hour earlier, in the name of Alberto Florez. Also another bottle of Xanax was found, in the name of Luis Lopez on the label. 3 more pill bottles visible on the center console were found. 1 bottle was unlabelled and empty, the 2nd bottle was full of white and yellow pills believed to be Xanax but with the name of Alberto Florez on the label a 3rd bottle contained small blue pills, believed to be "Oxycodone", next to the pill bottles were 2 prescription blank form books. One for a Dr. Clifford R. Lipman M.D. and the other for a Dr. Bernardo J. Toro-Echague M.D. Total of 5 pill bottles and the prescription blank books were secured as evidence. Mr. Murillo started that the book were purchased in Newark, NJ.
